The WA University encourages its students to work through a step-by-step training course gradually building a skill base on which they can then build their future online businesses.  WA provides everything a new student needs to know to succeed online, be they complete novices or marketers who want to broaden their knowledge, leading to a better understanding of  what it really takes to succeed online.

Their current pricing of $39.00 /month or $359.88 / year is ludicrously cheap for everything they offer their students, as of June 7 this goes up to $97/month or $797 / year.  Since WA started back in 2005 they’ve only had the one price increase, yet the facilities offered to their students have grown exponentially.

To those who may be thinking of joining one of the increasing number of ‘Online University’ type sites, then WA has an enviable track record that some of the newer startups would kill for. But these price increases suggest that now probably isn’t a good time to sit on the fence.  WA are happy to accept new members  at the £39.00 / month pricing and then when the money from their new businesses starts to roll in they can upgrade to the annual price of $359.88 / year but only until June 7.

I can only say that I’ve never regretted joining Wealthy Affiliates.  WA have continued to offer superb value and really effective training and the new prices are only reflecting more closely the great value that they’ve been offering for so long.

The more I think about Alex and what he’s achieving the more I admire his ingenuity.
He’s created a course that in effect promotes himself all the way down the line.

His course, although not the most expensive I’ve come across, is nearly $1000, so it’s not cheap.
The candidates who sign up for it are being encouraged to ride on his coat-tails which should allow them to capitalize on Alex’s success.

In return for the course fee, members of Alex’s group get Alex’s tutoring, a complete ready to go website, a product to sell and a free give-away ebook to encourage people to sign up to the members email list. Alex’s “Profit Pulling Platform” as it’s termed.

I’ve seen this done before but never so comprehensively.

The beauty of all this is that Alex has created what is in effect a Resale Rights product which his students can sell for $97 with the whole focus of the product being Alex and his tutoring.

In effect Alex has charged his students to promote him whilst letting them keep the profits of any sales.

I said yesterday that the focus of the course is not the way that I want to go – I’m no coach, but Alex deserves his success.

He’s really thought this whole thing through.

If his students understand the direction in which the course is taking them, and they apply what they’re going to learn, then there’s no reason why they couldn’t also make a good living off of the Internet.

They could do a lot worse than to follow Alex’s lead.

They should note what Alex is teaching them whilst also paying particular attention to the brilliance of Alex’s own marketing.

I’m beginning to appreciate just what Alex has achieved here although I can’t quite see how I could apply it as the focus is on creating a “personality”

I’m sure even bigger names than Alex can learn something from the way he’s marketed this package.

Surely that’s not too much to ask!

There are plenty of people out there offering courses of one sort or another but who do you trust?

I’ve already spent $1000 signing up for a course that wasn’t at all what I wanted.

Maybe I should have read the small print more closely.

But hang on – I did read it!

Yet, somehow, I still managed to get it wrong!

Anyway it’s time for me to move on.

I’m not comfortable hopping about from one trainer to another on the Internet, so I’m determined to get it right this time.

I’m not about to jump onto “The Next Big Opportunity” on the Internet, but I’m still looking for some solid training.

A guy I’m getting to know quite well dropped me an email to let me know about “Niche Profit Classroom” an online community that’s run by a couple of guys called Adam Short & Alen Sultanic.

NPC is apparantly the fastest growing community on the Internet.  It’s said that NPC is by far the simplest, most effective method for creating autopilot income streams online.

It’s ideal for people new to the Internet and also for more successful marketers too.

It’s got to be worth a look!

I’ve been feeling increasingly uneasy about the lack of progress with the course, and also very confused about the emphasis of it. – Where’s it’s headed!.

I initially thought the course was about Internet marketing, that’s what I signed up for and that’s what I want to pursue.

But yesterday it finally dawned on me Why I’ve been feeling increasingly confused.

Alex’s course isn’t about Internet marketing at all, it’s about Internet “Coaching”

How else can I explain Alex’s heavy emphasis on associating ourselves with his name, and his advice “You only need to be one step ahead of the others”, which is what he suggested in his first coaching webinar.

Why is any of this important when I’m looking to learn about marketing on the Internet?

Which “others” is he talking about?

Who do we need to be “one step ahead of”?

It’s finally dawned on me that little of this has any relevance to Internet marketing at all, until you start thinking in terms of Internet coaching that is.

Alex has been talking about a “U-turn” that he’s in the process of making with regard to his own marketing strategy, and now I understand what that U-turn is.

Alex is moving away from marketing products on the Internet, to now marketing himself.

Alex is an Internet coach and he’s teaching his marketing students to become coaches too, hence the emphasis and importance placed on positioning ourselves alongside him.

This also explains why the course is taking so long to get to any kind of marketing substance!

I have great regard for Alex, he has a “Big” personalty and I really don’t have a problem with that.

But, I’m not “Coaching” material by anybody’s measure.

Coaching is all about being in front of an audience – Not what I’m about at all.

Give me anonymity every time!

I’ve had a little contact with a couple of the other students and I fully expect to hear their names mentioned around the Internet a lot in future – I’m looking forward to that and I’m pretty sure they’re going to be successful.

I really do like to applaud other peoples’ successes – unfortunately, a trait I find increasingly rare in the UK.

Sorry Alex, but this isn’t for me at all.

I don’t want to be on stage!

It’s not so much a lack of confidence, more a lack of desire.
